Air Jordan 1 High OG "Rebellionaire" Release Date

Back in September of 1985, Nike created the iconic Air Jordan 1 High, which kicked off the greatest legacy in sneakers and shifted the business of footwear. Now the creatives at Jordan Brand honor MJ’s defiance against league rules after he wore his first signature sneaker on the hardwood.

The sneaker uses the same colorway and color blocking as the Air Jordan 1 “Shadow” with a distressed leather upper and lettering printed throughout the sneaker. The Shadow portion of the sneaker features “They Can’t Stop You From Wearing Them” printed throughout and is inspired by the Air Jordan 1 commercial from 1985. Red Xs are seen on the heel similarly from the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” and a white midsole and Shadow outsole finish off the sneaker.

For now, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Rebellionaire” releases at Nike and select retailers next March for $170.
