A Ma Maniere brings its street regal aesthetic to the Air Jordan 1 with the “Airness” colorway. This ultra-luxe design comes at no surprise as A Ma Maniere’s curator, James Whitner, is known for his refined style and tasteful simplicity. Earlier this year A Ma Maniere turned heads with its tonal “Raised By Women” Air Jordan 3, which included a kindred capsule collection.
The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 High OG is made of tones of rich “Burgundy Crush” and timeless “Sail.” Premium burgundy snakeskin dresses the Nike Swoosh and the upper lining of the sneaker. Other intricate details include metal lace capes with the A Ma Maniere signature, which appears again on the tongue tab and the insole. To complete the sneaker, Whitner incorporates a Michael Jordan quote on the inside of the ankle tab: “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”
